The Business Development Manager is a new role within the Tricel Group. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead follow-up.Convert leads into sales and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closingMaintain and grow existing customer relationship.Ensure all deals meet agreed margin targets and contribute to overall profitability.Monitor pricing structures, cost analysis, and negotiate terms that protect margins while remaining competitive.Builds solid relationship with colleagues and coordinates functions to ensure Divisional targets are supported.Track progress against KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior managementUtilises CRM system to lead the sales forecasting process to provide accurate and timely insights into future sales projections and help drive proactive decision-making.Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.Field based role with requirements to be in the office in Killarney from time to time.··Candidate ProfileProven experience in business development or sales position.Demonstrated ability to sell technically complex construction/mechanical industry.Experience working with contractors, consultants, or public-sector clientsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field advantageous.Ability to make informed decisions to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.Experience using HubSpot or other CRM platforms to achieve successThe ability to travel Nationally and occasionally Internationally as part of the role.What do we offer?At Tricel, we care about you and your progression.
