Main Responsibilities
Care
* To maintain the highest standards of care by supporting and assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
* To provide emotional support and attention while ensuring residents' comfort and dignity are maintained.
* To pay close attention to residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties and make the best use of available aids.
* To monitor and report on the wellbeing of residents, particularly those who may be confused or have behavioral problems.
Social Activities
* To promote continence and assist in delivering care for residents who are dying or have a progressive illness.
* To engage in social activities with residents, encouraging them to continue with hobbies and interests in the care centre.
* To respond to nurse calls and provide assistance as required.
Maintenance and Housekeeping
* To ensure rooms are clean and tidy, and commodes are empty, adhering to the nursing home's waste disposal policy.
* To clean and maintain equipment used by residents, including wheelchairs, hearing aids, and spectacles.
* To maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the nursing home, reflecting the company's attention to detail philosophy.
