About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to help define, design, and deliver high-quality user experiences across ADI's growing software portfolio.
You will work within a cross-functional team of UX/UI Designers and Software Engineers focused on streamlining and enhancing the workflows of Electrical Engineers via intuitive software tools and experiences. The core product is a Power Studio, consisting of multiple tools that enable power design engineers to plan, create, analyze, and optimize power supplies. You will play a critical role in defining and crafting intuitive and efficient product experiences that improve the quality of life for electrical engineers as they design their solutions.
A portfolio demonstrating recent work on complex software products is required.
What You Will Do
• Lead UX/UI design from discovery through production
• Define long-term vision and short-term execution with cross-functional partners
• Translate abstract problems into clear user flows and interaction models
• Design multi-touchpoint workflows
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
• Support and participate in usability testing
• Clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA to ensure quality and accessibility
• Contribute to Harmonic Design System components and patterns
• Balance autonomy with collaboration across multiple initiatives
Responsibilities
• Clarify product vision and user needs
• Define end-to-end flows at feature and system level
• Deliver production-ready UI aligned with ADI standards
• Maintain high bar for visual quality and usability
• Collaborate with Design Leadership and peers
• Influence product direction through systems thinking
• Support and mentor other designers
Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years experience designing complex software products
• Expert proficiency in Figma
• Strong UX, UI, and accessibility knowledge
• Cross-platform experience (web, desktop, mobile)
• Systems and product-suite level thinking
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Agile and product development experience
• Strong collaboration skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Design system ownership or contribution
• Familiarity with engineering or developer workflows
• Data-rich or analytical tool design
• Visual design, iconography, or data visualization skills
• Experience with tools like Miro and Jira
