Customer engineer iii

Overview

iContracting are currently seeking a Customer Engineer III to join our team. This is a day rate contract position located with our client in Galway, Ireland. The initial duration of this contract is 6 months, with possible renewals.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete quality repairs and actively respond to fab issues by communicating with engineers in other locations and participating in escalation conference calls.
2. Initiate or participate in projects to drive down costs or increase uptime, and carry out action plans and report findings.
3. Verify operational quality of system equipment and follow all checklists and procedures.
4. Identify procedural issues and perform most retrofits on equipment.
5. Apply diagnostic techniques and the use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
6. Assume responsibility for full customer satisfaction and assure excellent relations within assigned area.
