Department: ProductionReports To: Production Manager / Team LeaderLocation: Ballymount, Dublin 12Employment Type: (Full-time)Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our Large Format Printing and Signage Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the production, finishing, and assembly of a wide range of printed graphics and signage products. You'll work within a fast-paced environment, ensuring all jobs are produced to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain large format printers (e.g., Liyu, Mimaki, Ricoh, etc.).Prepare print files and materials in accordance with production specifications.Mount, laminate, trim, and finish printed materials using appropriate tools and machinery.Assist with the assembly and installation of signage, graphics, and display systems when required.Ensure all work is completed within set deadlines and meets quality control standards.Handle materials safely and maintain a clean and organised workspace.Monitor stock levels of materials, inks, and substrates, reporting shortages promptly.Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, waste management, and quality assurance.Collaborate closely with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a large format print or signage production environment (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided).Familiarity with large format printing equipment, laminators, cutters, and finishing tools.Good technical understanding of materials such as vinyl, Foamex, Dibond, acrylic, and banners.Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.Good time management and organisational skills.A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Basic IT literacy (RIP software and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge advantageous).Working Hours & EnvironmentStandard working hours: shifts can include 6am to 2pm / 8am to 4pm and 9am to 5pm.
