Advocacy Strategy Development
We are seeking an external consultant to develop a comprehensive advocacy strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.
The successful candidate will possess experience in strategic planning and be able to work closely with our Director of Research, Advocacy and Policy Manager, CEO, and assigned working group.
* Define Purpose and Approach: Develop a clear understanding of the advocacy function's purpose and overall approach based on research and evidence.
* Clarify Roles and Responsibilities: Identify and clarify the role and responsibilities required for effective and integrated advocacy across our work programmes.
* Identify Priorities: Outline a roadmap for key priorities in the advocacy work, aligned to our organisational strategic priorities.
* Understand Advocacy within Organisation: Gain a thorough understanding of advocacy within our organisation.
* Inform Approach and Achieve Goals: Inform our approach to achieving our advocacy goals both internally and externally, as well as identifying mechanisms for measuring success.
The proposed consultation methodologies should facilitate a creative, collaborative, and constructive facilitation process. The selected candidate will engage with senior management, Board members, staff, end-of-life and bereavement care professionals, and other organisations working in the advocacy field.
Expected outcomes include presentations at key milestones, a document outlining the framework for the Advocacy Strategy, and detailed budget breakdowns.
