Property Solicitor Role
We are seeking a qualified Property Solicitor to join our team and support the management of our significant land and property portfolio. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to work on diverse, high-value property matters in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions, providing clear legal advice, and helping deliver on our long-term property strategy. The work is varied, hands-on, and often unique, from dealing with rural and agricultural land to navigating complex title issues.
* Handle property sales and purchases from initial instruction to registration
* Prepare and review contracts, transfers, wayleaves, rights of way, licences, and other property documents
* Undertake title due diligence and resolve complex title issues
* Advise on a range of property matters including boundary disputes and burdens on the estate
* Provide legal advice on commercial agreements and forest property acquisitions
* Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements
* Liaise with external legal advisers where required
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with experience in Property Law and Conveyancing (experience in rural/agricultural property is an advantage)
Strong technical conveyancing and drafting skills
Confident working independently with a high volume of matters
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to give practical, timely advice
Comfortable using legal case management systems and reading maps
