About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineering Manager to oversee our pharma production facility in Dublin 13. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of high-performing engineering and craft personnel.
Your primary focus will be on all engineering support aspects in drug product manufacturing, including utilities, facilities, projects, CAPEX, engineering, and site security. You will be responsible for leading and managing key activities within the engineering team, managing multiple projects, and maintaining the validated state of engineering systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing key activities within the engineering team.
* Managing multiple projects to address factory engineering obsolescence, equipment prioritization, and project schedules.
* Maintaining the validated state of engineering systems and conducting control system revalidation.
* Continuously improving departmental processes and standardization related to controls technology and programming, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Coordinating troubleshooting of high-speed filling, assembly, and packaging equipment.
* Managing training and development of engineering personnel.
* Supporting quality initiatives, investigating triage events, and addressing corrective actions.
* Supporting internal and external regulatory audits and developing remediation plans.
* Defining governance and procedures for the engineering team.
* Managing disaster recovery processes and system backups as part of preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Ideal experience of 8+ years of leading high-performing engineering teams.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead technical, project, and people management aspects.
* Problem-solving skills with a structured approach, including planning and validation activities.
* Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels.
* Organizational skills to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain documentation.
* Understanding of engineering system implementation, validation lifecycle, and product quality impact of changes.
