Job Summary
A specialist is sought after to oversee the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, anemia, thrombocytopenia, coagulation abnormalities, myeloproliferative syndromes, and cases involving malignancies and immunodeficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine accurate diagnoses and prescribe treatment for hematological conditions including chemotherapy and targeted therapies.
* Supervise clinical management, monitor toxicity, coordinate with oncology departments, manage acute complications, participate in research and supervise residents as required.
* Oversee laboratory duties encompassing hematology, general coagulation, specialized hematology, validation and critical result reporting, morphological diagnosis, quality management, and laboratory accreditation.
Requirements
* Registration as a hematologist in a European Union country.
* Irish Medical Council Specialist Register registration.
* Proficient English language skills (C1 level).
* Strong motivation to relocate to Ireland and commence work immediately upon arrival.
* Extensive knowledge of clinical and laboratory hematology principles.
