We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee road maintenance contracts with local authorities.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering, road servicing, or quantity surveying and be able to manage all aspects of day-to-day operations, costs, crews, and materials for each project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of site operations
* Management of site resources (labor, materials, equipment)
* Coordination of sub-contractors and suppliers
* E nsure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules
* Progress monitoring and updates to senior management
* Enforcement of health and safety protocols
* Conducting site inspections and addressing safety concerns
* Maintenance of quality standards and issue resolution
* Productivity maximization, waste minimization, and cost tracking
* Liaison with clients, engineers, and stakeholders
* Leadership of site meetings and collaboration on budgets and cost control
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of construction management experience with a focus on road projects
* Strong proficiency in project management tools
* Full driving licence is essential
