We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing day-to-day transactions, and supporting key finance operations in line with Irish accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate books and records including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
* Process supplier and customer invoices
* Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
* Prepare and file VAT returns and other Revenue submissions (e.g., PAYE, RCT if applicable)
* Support payroll processes and record employee expenses
* Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports
* Liaise with external accountants, Revenue, and other relevant parties as needed
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Irish tax and financial regulations
* Provide ad hoc financial administration support to the wider team
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
* Working knowledge of Irish tax systems including VAT and PAYE
* Strong Excel and general IT skills
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
