Our client is currently recruiting for a GIS Analyst for their team. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated in starting or furthering a career in the renewable energy sector.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Assist team members in collating, analysing, and presenting various datasets;
Prepare high quality mapping and analytical assessments to inform project development;
Developing and deploying GIS mapping solutions;
Implement resilient data management processes and be able to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working with challenging deadlines.

Qualifications
Relevant Degree or Post‑Graduate Qualification (e.g. GIS, Data Analytics, Remote Sensing or related/relevant discipline);
2‑3 years’ experience in a similar role;
Have a keen interest in renewable energy systems;
Required Skills
Highly competent in the use of GIS software and extensions for analysis, map production and database management;
Experience with QGIS/ArcGIS and associated applications for data presentation and field collection;
Knowledge of current sources of publicly available Geospatial data and experience of working with environmental and planning related datasets;
Knowledge of appropriate map projections and transformations in the Irish context;
Experience in importing, converting, referencing, and exporting CAD data in a GIS environment;
Production of large map sets of publication quality mapping;
Have a passion for GIS and desire to keep informed on the latest GIS developments and how they can be applied to existing projects;
