Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure new products meet standard specifications upon introduction to the site.
* Utilize statistical techniques to optimize production processes.
* Troubleshoot processing problems with Production Group leaders.
* Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
* Solve customer-related issues in collaboration with the Quality department.
* Provide training to employees on new processes or systems introduced by the company.
* Develop and review documentation for Production and Technical areas, ensuring conformance to ISO standards.
Requirements:
* National Diploma in Engineering (preferably a Degree in Plastics Engineering).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the injection moulding industry.
* Strong knowledge of injection mould tooling and design.
* Expertise in injection moulding, processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
* Experience in Medical, Packaging, or technological industries is preferred.
* Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems is beneficial.
* In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments.
* Familiarity with WCM, JIT, SMED, and Kaizen principles.
* Proficiency in computer systems, integrated manufacturing systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
