Job Category: Sales Position Summary The Floating Leasing Consultant is responsible for providing leasing support to a number of apartment communities in Northeast, Ohio by sourcing prospective tenants, identifying their housing needs, and providing tours of apartments and the community in an effort to secure a lease. In addition, this role manages and facilitates all lease documentation, the move-in and move-out process, and provides customer service to all current and prospective tenants. Individuals will not be scheduled to work at more than one property per day, with most of our community office hours being 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Essential Job FunctionsProvides property and apartment unit tours to prospective tenantsPrepares lease and lease renewal documentsPartners with the Property Manager to monitor and maintain occupancy goalsFacilitates and schedules the tenant move-in and move-out processEncourages retention by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residentsMaintains appointment calendar and assists in the preparation of move-in booklets and other promotional materialsAssists with resident functions, activities, and programs as neededAssumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as requiredRequired QualificationsEducation, Training and or/ ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED with one plus years of sales, hospitality, or leasing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
