WuXi Biologics, a global leader in biologics development and manufacturing, is seeking an Engineering Intern (6–12 months) to join our team of engineers and scientists. This internship provides the opportunity to apply academic learning in a real-world biopharma environment, gaining hands-on experience in process modelling, equipment design, process fit, data analysis, and innovative technologies. Job Summary
Interns will be assigned to one of the Engineering teams — AIS, PEV, Plant Engineering, or Utilities — and gain unique exposure to operations, projects, and the biopharmaceutical business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining a safe, cGMP-compliant working environment
* Support the drafting, review, and revision of SOPs, training competencies, and work instructions.
* Assist and collaborate with Engineering teams (AIS, PEV, Plant Engineering, or Utilities) to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Contribute to project teams, supporting the delivery of engineering and site projects
* Proactively identify and report any deviations from SOPs or standard processes.
* Training to be completed in a timely manner and maintained up to date.
* To adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures and regulations
* Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents
* Demonstrate flexibility in taking on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Engineering Leads
* Act as a role model in alignment with WuXi's PROUD culture and corporate values.

Technical Competencies
* Ability to meet timelines and complete tasks as per the prescribed requirements
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and explore new ideas
* Good computer skills to support development and advancement
Experience
* No previous experience required, demonstrated ability to work in teams through university/college activities
Knowledge
* Basic knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and engineering principles
Qualifications
* Pursuing a third level undergraduate or post graduate qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline. For example, but not limited to: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Plant Engineering.
