Role PurposeThe Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality Asian dishes in line with Stupa's menu, recipes, and standards. The role requires strong culinary skills, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. The Chef de Partie will support the Head Chef in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations and uphold all hygiene and food safety standards.2.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and present a range of authentic Asian dishes (such as stir-fries, curries, soups, and noodle dishes) to the restaurant's standards.Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.Assist in developing and refining menu items, contributing creative ideas while maintaining authenticity.Supervise and support junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP regulations.Monitor inventory, manage stock rotation, and report shortages promptly.Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure proper care and maintenance.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies.Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head Chef or management team as required.3.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in an Asian or high-volume restaurant.Proven experience preparing and cooking authentic Asian cuisine (Thai, Malaysian, Japanese, or Vietnamese experience preferred).Strong knowledge of Asian ingredients, sauces, and traditional cooking techniques (such as wok cooking, stir-frying, and steaming).Formal culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience desirable.Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Skills and AttributesPassionate about authentic Asian cuisine and delivering consistent, high-quality dishes.Reliable, organised, and able to perform well under pressure.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.5.Additional InformationFull training on Stupa's menu and operational standards will be provided.Uniforms and staff meals are provided during working hours.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the restaurant.Job Type: Full-timePay: €34,000.00-€36,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 28/11/2025
