Job Description
Ardee & Collon Parish invites applications for the position of Parish Centre Manager. Based in Ardee, this is a key leadership role with responsibility for the day‑to‑day management, development and promotion of the Parish Centre as a welcoming and vibrant community hub. The successful candidate will lead centre operations, oversee staff and volunteers, manage finances and bookings, coordinate events, and work closely with parish committees and community groups. The role requires strong organisational, financial and interpersonal skills, together with a hands‑on, flexible approach, including evening and weekend work.
Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience in a management role with operational and financial responsibility
Experience managing staff and/or volunteers
Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
Confidence using IT systems, social media and basic financial software
Experience in the community or voluntary sector and grant funding is desirable
Appointment to this role is subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting in accordance with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012–2016.
