Due to continued growth, were excited to be recruiting for a Depot Manager to join our busy Operations Team.
Based from our depot in Dublin, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the depot.
You will liaise with the National Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Senior Training Mentors, Distribution Centre Team Leaders, and be responsible for all Operational staff.
You will ensure that we meet our customers expectations by giving the highest quality of service and standards of workmanship when delivering, replacing, repairing and installing vehicle glass.

Previous warehouse leadership experience would be advantageous.
What Youll Be Doing With full support and training, youll learn how to: Oversee Goods in and make sure all parts collected are booked in accurately and accounted for Oversee Goods out and ensure all parts are quickly identified and despatched Oversee all installation scheduling and ensure all works are allocated in a productive and efficient manner Oversee stores and ensure they are operating efficiently Liaise with the Training and Development Manager and Senior Training Mentors to ensure all training programs are followed through Ensure all Memos, Toolbox Talks and Work instructions are rolled out and recorded accurately Manage staff holidays, sickness and lateness Manage staff annual performance reviews Liaise with HR to ensure all processes are being followed correctly and managed dealing with any issues that may arise Ensure the warehouse and offices are safe and well maintained Ensure all vehicles assigned to the depot are well maintained The Depot Manager should also be able to work at each station, scheduling, Goods in and Goods out should the need arise Undertake all training as required by the company Take full day-to-day responsibility for the Health & Safety of the site, acting as the primary point of contact Lead by example to drive a safety-first culture; immediately challenging unsafe behaviours and ensuring strict adherence to process and procedures Manage all local statutory requirements (electrical testing, fire safety, etc.), ensuring the facility is always legally compliant and audit ready Lead immediate investigations into accidents or near misses, reporting to the Head of H&S and implementing preventative and corrective actions Ensure that all staff are fully briefed on, understand, and strictly adhere to all safe systems of work Conduct regular site briefings and engage with the workforce to gather safety feedback Any other additional duties given to you by senior managers, or directors as required Overseeing that all glass is safely picked and loaded for deliveries and installation jobs when required Overseeing that all warehouse duties are safely undertaken including manual handling, stock movements and crate management Ensure that all PDA documents are completed accurately Ensue that all reports are well maintained and reported accurately Ensure all vehicle safety checks are carried out as per procedure Where applicable check emails and ensure most up to date requests are met Undertake all training as required by the company Represent PSV professionally at all times Support the wider team with additional tasks as needed Any other additional duties as assigned by the supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors as required What Were Looking For A full, valid manual driving licence (minimum 3 years driving experience) Aged 21 or over (Insurance requirement) Someone who can drive efficiency and continual improvement A motivator who can comfortably support the wider team Safety and compliance leadership skills, effecting change A practical, hands-on and methodical approach Positive attitude, good communication skills and a professional manner You will always have to lead by example and set the bar Proven previous leadership skills are advantageous.
