Mater Private Network have an exciting opportunity for Medical/ Surgical SHOs to join our Mater Private Network Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Follow the Hospital admissions process by documenting History and Physical examination the designated Initial Medical Assessment Form.
* Assess/review and document findings for patients as requested by the attending Consultant and/or Nursing Staff in a timely and legible manner.
* To review patients on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made and inform the consultant or relevant registrar of any issues or problems.
* Prescribe medications for patients as required as directed by consultant.
* Participate in ward rounds.
* Complete the discharge process with an electronic discharge letter.
* Cover admissions in the Same Day Surgery Unit / Heart Centre Day Unit.
Skills & Qualifications
* Registration with IMC
