Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and strong communication abilities to ensure timely and secure deliveries. Responsibilities
* Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Deliver goods to specified locations within the scheduled timeframes, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries.
* Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
* Load and unload cargo as required, utilising warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge to handle goods efficiently.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
* Follow all health and safety protocols during driving and loading operations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, supporting overall logistics operations as needed.
Requirements
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or in warehouse logistics.
* Knowledge of flatbed lorry operation and handling of various cargo types.
* Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
* Experience with driving large vehicles in diverse environments and navigating different routes confidently.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Pay: €12.29-€22.44 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
