,West Street are looking for experienced and friendly **mid-week** waiting staff for Front of House to join our team. Creating a fun and memorable experience for our customers and team is key at West Street, and we're looking for someone who is friendly, upbeat and enjoys working in a busy environment to join us We are looking for candidates who are available for an IMMEDIATE start.
Front of House Duties and Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and lead them to their seats.
* Introduce our menus with knowledge on how to describe different dishes.
* Take orders.
* Deliver orders to the table in a timely manner.
* Ensure customers are looked after through all stages of their visit - nurturing a good rapport with everyone who walks through the door.
* Keeping an eagle eye on small details (i.e. if someone has been waiting to order, noticing when tables are about to turn over during busy periods, etc).
* Adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards.
* Identify and resolve any special requirements, wants and needs of customers.
* Collaborate closely with other staff members.
* Participate in end of shift clean down of café / bathrooms etc.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience as a wait staff or similar role preferred but not essential
* Customer oriented approach
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask
* Meet store operating policies and standards adhering to HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
* Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
* Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €13.50-€15.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Castleblayney, CO. Monaghan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
