Purpose of Position Coordinate ELI programmes with particular responsibility for the ABC programme Doodle Den.
Reporting to: Assistant Director, Early Learning Initiative and Senior Coordinator Community Supports Programme.
Key Relationships: Director and Assistant Director of the Early Learning Initiative Senior Coordinator, Community Supports Programme ABC Programme Staff and facilitators Early Learning Initiative team National College of Ireland Members of ABC consortium Stakeholders in the local community, including parents, children and practitioners Key Responsibilities: Support the coordination of the ELI and ABC programmes with particular responsibility for the Doodle Den programme Provide induction, mentoring and support to ELI Staff and stakeholders in implementing the above programmes Organise and attend internal and interagency meetings, training and Communities of Practice for relevant programme areas Support and monitor the grant/funding applications to ensure that programmes are being delivered, funding spent and reporting procedures followed as outlined in the grant/funding agreements Supervise budget and expenditure for ELI/ABC Programmes and ensure that they adhere to ABC's, ELI's and NCI's financial procedures Liaise with key stakeholders, including ABC Consortium, Working Groups, Tusla, NEIC, other Departments within NCI, ELI Corporate partners and other statutory, community and voluntary bodies around the development of ELI locally Supervise records, reports and/or evaluation data on the programmes and participating professionals, children and families and ensure that they are GDPR compliant Participate in research activities for ELI and ABC programme Work closely with and support the Assistant Director in planning, implementing and evaluating these programmes along with ensuring that ELI/ABC is fully compliant with all relevant governance, administrative and organisational procedures Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director Skills and Experience Required: Relevant 3rd level qualification Relevant experience of working with children, young people, families and statutory agencies, Experience in developing and delivering relevant professional development programmes Ability to work with marginalised families and have an understanding of the issues of marginalisation Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of College personnel, community and corporate stakeholders and other outside individuals/organisations Flexible approach to work as evening and weekend work may be required Ability to operate as a team player in a cross disciplinary, integrated team, sharing roles and responsibilities An energetic, confident and pro-active individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent leadership, administrative and organisational skills Salary: Depending on Experience, Administrator Salary Band ( €31,059 - €44,354) Annual Leave: 24 days per year Contract: Fixed-term, specified purpose, 12 months Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week The successful applicant will be subject to Garda Vetting and must not have any convictions under the Sex Offenders Act 2001.
