Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a hands-on Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service in our busy venue.
* Recruit, train, and develop new and existing staff to ensure a consistent high level of food is maintained at all times.
* Plan menus for the restaurant, sourcing the best products from local suppliers and ensuring excellent GP and wastage are kept to a minimum.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain a high level of culinary excellence.
* E nsure effective Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures are implemented throughout the kitchen and that all staff are trained accordingly.
The Ideal Candidate
* Has previous experience as a Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment.
* Has expertise in menu planning for restaurants and functions.
* Has strong financial management skills and a proven track record in achieving excellent gross profit margins.
* Is a creative leader who stays up-to-date with industry trends.
