With a commitment to innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction, we pride ourselves on delivering durable and reliable products to clients across the region.Summary of RoleThe Contracts Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all precast installations; flooring, stairs, walls, agricultural projects (as required) and custom solutions.Acting as a central hub between fitters, safety, despatch, production, design, sales personnel & other management, the Contracts Manager shall ensure associated targets are met on site and that projects are delivered efficiently, on-time and within budget.Reduction and elimination of site issues is a primary goal but the Contracts Manager shall also respond to relevant problems on site, making decisions in a timely manner. Issues on site shall be fed back to management and the relevant staff, serving as a useful improvement mechanism.Key ResponsibilitiesPrecast Installation & Safety· Attend pre-start meetings and assess site conditions· When required, assist/oversee specification of installation methods· Supervise all fitting crew and audit to ensure proper procedures are usedo Both general requirements and health and safety· Liaise with Health & Safety team on current issues and new procedures· Assess site procedures and implement improvements· Liaise with drawing office and engineers on possible improvements at design stage prior to site fit· Higher level involvement in day-to-day custom installations, assisting and guiding the site installation teamProblem Solving and Elimination· Solve problems on site in a timely manner and ensure that all necessary personnel are informed – other fitters, despatch, production, sales, drawing office· When issues have been resolved, create a report for management and draft report/toolbox talk to be circulated around all relevant personnel· Follow up on solutions to issues to ensure they are implemented in all departmentsDespatch & Production· Work alongside the sales despatch team to ensure efficient use of resources· Assist in production and despatch planning if and when requiredHoliday cover for flooring despatch· Specify and ensure the correct equipment is available for installation· On larger projects, advise despatch on fitting sequence pre-manufacture to ensure efficient flow through production· Higher level involvement in daily despatch functions – assisting and guiding where necessarySales Guidance & Tendering· Attend site meetings as Wright's technical representative· Assist pricing larger and bespoke projects· Analyse larger and difficult projects to help identify constraints· Liaise with sales team at point of sale on larger projects (bespoke/flooring/walls etc.) considering production & installation capacityGeneral· Analyse upcoming deliveries and work load, estimating resource requirements and possible actions requiredGeneral Health and Safety & Quality· To undertake all work in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Statement, Policies and Procedures· To report any potential health & safety issues that may occur on site as seen from drawings and documents received· To report any product issues to your supervisor immediately· Maintain problems log and report on recurring issuesGeneral Housekeeping· To leave your work area clean and tidy at the end of each working day· To manage your time-keeping and attendance in accordance with the Company's policiesAdditional Duties· This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
