Business Solutions Specialist

The primary function of this role is to work collaboratively with the CSD Leadership and relevant stakeholders within the function, to support successful execution of CSD projects regionally.

This involves interacting with the global business and IT teams to ensure alignment as required.


Responsibilities

* Support the identification of business stakeholders and work with IT Business Systems Analysts to determine information needed to gather requirements.
* Collaborate with relevant business process owners to assist in the accurate evaluation and definition of project requirements.
* Connect cross-functionally where CSD system changes impact partner functions.
* Support project-related process mapping with key project stakeholders.
* Support process versus systems gaps, leading to a "to be" business process mapping effort.
* Support process mapping output analysis exercise and compile identified business requirements.
* Support impact analysis process on requirement changes with IT BSA and communicate as relevant to the project team.
* Support completion of visual representations of conceptual solutions on all projects.
* Work collaboratively with relevant parties to implement software validation steps and documentation.
* Support change management process with business stakeholders.
* Create test cases where necessary and organize user testing.
* Support system procedures for the operation of new systems.
* Participate in relevant project meetings as necessary.
* Review enhancements and projects after implementation to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
* Establish and maintain system expertise.
* Troubleshoot day-to-day systems issues with IT and business process owners.
* Progress and close out globally approved local Change Orders (COs), Software Validations, and system related Incidents logs with IT.
* Complete assigned tasks within identified timelines.


Requirements

* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical device or high-tech industry.
* Engineering, IT, Business Systems Analyst, or Project Management qualification would be an advantage.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good business process knowledge with experience of working closely with process owners.
* Business systems knowledge with proven experience of working closely with IT.
* Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
