Financial Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance function.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, team management, and ensuring robust financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, and statutory reporting.
* Lead and support a finance team of two, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting.
* Maintain strong financial controls.
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
* Provide strategic financial insight to senior management to support key decision-making.
* Review and improve internal financial processes and systems where necessary.
* Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* 5+ years post-qualified experience in a senior finance role, ideally as Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
* Previous experience managing small finance teams and working in a hands-on role.
* Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and budgeting processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in the hospitality or membership-based sectors is an advantage but not essential.
Salary:€100k plus bonus depending on experience
