This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is developing components, software, and systems technologies to build and extend the Smart Power Grid.The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying software developed for the Smart Power Grid, including firmware, APIs, tools, and services. This position is part of a diverse, cross-functional, geo-distributed team supporting products for our global customers.Key responsibilities include:Understanding various power and metrology standards applicable to the Smart Power Grid.Identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing appropriate tools and frameworks.Developing and executing tests, analyzing results to identify defects and issues.Checking the quality of software releases and verifying/signing off against acceptance criteria.Preparing test reports summarizing results, findings, and recommendations.Providing feedback to developers on issues and areas for improvement.Using industry best practices and tools for software verification.Ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases through rigorous verification processes.Minimum Qualifications/skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.5+ years of industry experience in embedded systems or software testing.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing test code for software systems using Python and PyTest.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of signal processing concepts such as filters, Fourier transforms, harmonic distortion, etc.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of energy metering, high power/high voltage power conversion, energy storage, transmission, and distribution systems.Experience in software development with C/C++.Experience with Agile workflows like Scrum or Kanban.#LI-CO1Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: 1st Shift/DaysPlease note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy, you might need a work permit.
