Business Development Manager
Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across Ireland and the UK, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Manager to join their dynamic and supportive sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing the sales of plant and vehicle hire services in your assigned geographical territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify possible new leads for sales, establish and maintain relationships with potential clients
* Conduct business development cold calling, arrange customer visits, and follow up with marketing
* Generate new business opportunities and develop new accounts to maximise sales levels
* Maintain and grow existing key accounts and ensure customer retention is achieved and developed
Requirements:
* Previous field sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing, or construction
* Local market knowledge preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers
* Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
* Proven record in a problem-solving role
