Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Transport Planner
to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution operations.
* Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
* Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to manage logistics processes efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
* Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
* Timely engagement with customers to ensure high-quality customer service is maintained and promptly address customer queries.
Requirements
* Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain management.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Experienced in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience in air and sea freight is helpful but not essential.
