An EHS and Quality Coordinator is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mallow based engineering client. The person will support standards and audit for health & safety, quality and client certifications. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract.
Role of this position
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Lean systems.
* Conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal company standards.
* Recording and addressing Corrective Actions and Concern Forms across Quality, Environmental, and Operational domains.
* Participating in internal and external audits including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
* Managing and maintaining the calibration system for electrical and mechanical measurement equipment
* Supporting and driving Lean initiatives and various continuous improvement projects across the business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Qualified in LEAN Six Sigma, Green belt or higher preferable.
* Qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantage
* Experience of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 is necessary.
* Experience with certifications, compliance standards, and regulated industry requirements.
* Relevant third level qualification needed
