Residential Clinical Nurse Manager 3 Maternity leave contract- up to 1 year Description Adult residential Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) Maternity Leave Contract up to one year Full time post - Specified Purpose Contract Salary - €70,725 - €79,872 Saint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East Services are now inviting applications for the post of Nurse Manager CNM3 We are looking for a candidate with the skills and experience necessary to manage a person centred, dynamic and challenging 24/7 residential service. We provide adult residential & respite services compliant with HIQA standards and legislation. The role will provide effective management support to our team of residential supervisors/CNM. The successful candidate will be flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the changing needs for adults with intellectual disabilities in the areas of dementia care. Role Summary This is a 37.5 hour a week post, working Monday to Friday. However, working cover may be required at times either in the evenings and/or at the weekend. Minimum Requirements and Expectations of the Role: The successful candidate must meet the following criteria: Be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably RNID trained with 3 years' experience in ID. This role involves you be the named Person in charge for a number of DCs and in line with this to create and complete audits that will contribute to the effective running of the DC's. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, New Directions, and all other relevant legislation. Experience in the area of Intellectual disabilities is essential and experience of supporting individuals with intellectual disability using a person-centred approach Experience of working with adults with intellectual disabilities with Dementia and end of life care. Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills and change management and auditing skills. A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of the service To undertake a lead role in the Dementia Care and Assessment Team (DCAT) supports within the service.
