Johnson Hana is seeking to hire Data Protection Consultants for upcoming projects with multiple international companies. These projects will range from 12-18 months in length and there is a strong potential for the projects to be extended beyond this timeframe. These projects are on a contract basis ranging between 20-40 hours per week and there is some flexibility as to when these hours can be completed.
Scope of work:
* Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders.
* Experience working on DPIA’s, LIA’s, TIA’s, ROPAs and similar documents.
* Deliver training across all business units to staff members who are involved in data handling or processing.
* Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues.
* Familiarity with responding to data subject access requests.
* Experience interviewing internal stakeholders regarding privacy and data compliance processes.
* Minimum 3 years+ experience in Data Protection.
* Strong knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy law.
* Presentation skills, confident in front of a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership.
* Ability to interpret data and be able to report back to the business.
* Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
