Senior Electrical Engineer

LSC has a great contract opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in a medical device company in Limerick.
The role requires leading electrical design, commissioning and integration of automated machinery from low-voltage (LV) distribution to 24V control systems within a high-volume, 24/7 validated production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and review the development, testing, and installation of electrical distribution and control systems.
Participate within project teams, provide technical support, and make informed decisions on electrical and control system hardware and architecture selection within a multi-functional, multi-discipline environment.
Advise on fault-finding of complex automation equipment and control systems when required.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to medical-device standards.
Inspect new and existing vendor electrical equipment for compliance with electrical requirements.
Carry out electrical commissioning assessments and sign-off new or modified installations.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 8, Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of current Irish and international electrical standards, directives, and best practices.
Experience in the design and commissioning of LV distribution and MCC systems.
Experience in the design and commissioning of 24V controls and automation systems.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
