Fohntech Group is looking for a Welding Inspectors to join their team in Kerry.ResponsibilitiesVerify welding specifications and compliances for site requirementsBe familiar with safety, quality and construction or maintenance regulations, standards, procedures and requirementsEnsure that all activities/tasks adhere to national and state health and safety regulationsEnsure welding procedures are being followed correctly and that welders are using appropriate equipment and materialsReview NDT results and interpret findings to assess weld quality and detect any defects or discontinuitiesIdentify the qualifications of welders and the validity of their certificatesMaintain records of inspections conductedInterpret welding symbols, drawings, specifications and codesDocument results of inspections, including VT reports and weld mapsIdentify and report any deviations or non-conformances to procedures, codes or standardsQualifications and RequirementsExperience as a Welding InspectorCurrent recognized International Welding Inspector qualifications and/or equivalentCWI (IWI-B) Certified International Welding Inspector Basic or CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
