Description
This is a central position on our compliance team playing a critical role in ensuring that Xeinadin operations meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs and practice assurance initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in compliance risk management and operational excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and enhance compliance monitoring and practice assurance frameworks.
Provide strategic advice and operational guidance on matters related to compliance and quality assurance.
Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and practice reviews to identify gaps and drive remedial actions.
Lead investigations into compliance breaches or incidents, ensuring appropriate reporting and corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with operational teams and external regulator (ICAEW) to ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the organisation's activities, ensuring policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
Prepare and present reports on compliance risks, assurance findings, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and Exco as needed.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance culture and operational resilience.
Key Requirements
Professional certification either in compliance, risk management, audit, or similar desirable.
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or practice assurance positions.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles relevant to professional services, ideally audit and accountancy (ICAEW/CAI requirements).
Exceptional analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
