Our client, an architectural practice providing specialist consultancy and full architectural services in the Healthcare Sector, is seeking Architects to join their team in their Dublin and Cork offices.
They are working on a number of high-profile healthcare projects and a variety of other project types which are at design development/tender stage. At the heart of their professional commitment, is their belief in the art of architecture as a vital ingredient in all our lives.
Responsibilities:
1. Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
2. Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
3. Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
4. Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
5. Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
6. Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
7. Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
Qualifications:
8. RIAI Registered Architect with 5-10 years' post graduate experience.
9. Ambition in delivering high quality architecture.
10. Motivated, enthusiastic, creative, flexible person who enjoys working in a team environment.
11. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with clients and other disciplines.
12. Good technical knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements.
13. Capable of managing projects through design and construction stages. Revit experience strongly preferable but not essential.
