IT Support Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide hands-on end-user support, administration, installation, and issue resolution onsite for our clients.
* Ticket management: resolving tickets assigned by the Helpdesk based on process.
* Teams meeting room: proactive testing and updating of meeting rooms, including relevant documentation.
* Stock Management: ensuring spares are managed for replenishment, good housekeeping for labelling and management of peripherals.
* Helpdesk calls: prioritizing, managing, and responding to calls in a timely manner logged on the help desk system.
* Establishing good working relationships with customers.
* Troubleshooting hardware faults, referring them to third parties where necessary.
* System administration using Active Directory.
* Troubleshooting Windows accounts/mailboxes.
* Diagnosing and solving software faults (e.g., Citrix).
* Installing and configuring computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
* Managing pst requests and data requests for staff moves.
* Liaising with third-party vendors for software/hardware installation.
* Dealing with 'how to' and information requests, including data security and ICT policies.
* Liaising with local and national ICT teams to find root causes for recurring issues.
* Documenting new solutions.
* Managed Print devices: liaising with vendors, including IP information.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in working on an ITIL-aligned Helpdesk.
* Strong Windows 10 desktop skills.
* Use of Intune for deployments.
* Device compliance and patching.
* Experience with Microsoft Defender and Security.
* At least 6 months of experience working with Azure AD, particularly managing user profiles and Exchange Online.
* Experience working in a hybrid AD/Azure AD environment would be an advantage.
* Strong skills in the O365 suite, particularly Outlook/Word/Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Prior experience of MS Teams would be an advantage.
* Fully qualified drivers license.
