Hours: 3-Cycle Rotating Shifts – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM | 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM | 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a qualified Electrician to join a well-established food production company in Clonmel. This is a permanent opportunity operating on a 3-cycle shift.
The successful candidates will be part of a proactive engineering and maintenance team, supporting production and site operations with electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and general maintenance. The company offers long-term stability, shift pay, and the opportunity to develop within a regulated and forward-thinking environment. Strong maintenance team of approx. 7/8 in total.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs across site machinery
* Respond to electrical breakdowns and assist with root cause analysis
* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams on shift
* Carry out safety checks and maintain compliance with site proceduresSupport plant improvements and general facilities upkeep
* Document work carried out and ensure systems are up to date
* Participate in maintenance meetings and shift handovers
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all areas
Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician with valid certification (Ireland or equivalent)
* Some maintenance experience in a regulated or industrial setting desirable
* Ability to work effectively across all three shift patterns
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Experience working within production or similar environments an advantage
* Capable of working independently and within a team
* Good communication and record-keeping abilities
* Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in a production setting
