Our client is a leading Irish Civils contractor who possess ISO9001 accreditation and continually lead the way in integrated services and support.
Due to increased project demands, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Construction Administrator to join our team.
This role is a key support position within the company and will assist both our office and site teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across the business, ensuring all documentation, systems, and communications are maintained to a high professional
standard.
Responsibilities include:
Providing administrative assistance to office staff, site managers, and project teams.
Coordinating and maintaining documentation, records, and filing systems in line with company standards.
Supporting the implementation and upkeep of internal systems and administrative controls.
Liaising with construction site teams to ensure timely receipt and processing of required project information.
Assisting with general office duties and ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience and working within the road corridor preferred.
3+ years' experience in a construction or engineering administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
