Senior Care Manager
Lead a team of dedicated professionals providing age-related residential, educational, and day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure effective governance, operational management, and regulatory compliance of designated centres.
* Develop and implement person-centered care plans that promote dignity, rights, independence, and quality of life.
* Manage staff rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels and maintain high-quality care standards.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics as required by law or policy.
Requirements:
* Hold a level 7 or higher in Social Care and a level 8 in a health/management-related 3rd-level qualification on the QQI framework.
* Be eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Registration Board with CORU and maintain such registration for the duration of employment.
* Have a minimum 5 years' experience working in residential services supporting adults with intellectual disability, autism, and challenging behaviour.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with flexibility to meet service requirements.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Postgraduate training in Positive Behaviour Support.
* Experience of using alternative communication methods.
* Previous experience and understanding of supporting individuals with specific and clinical support requirements.
