Description
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this post is to provide professional and managerial leadership within St Peter's Ward, encouraging staff to develop clinical expertise for the benefit of staff and patients. The post holder is accountable, responsible, and has authority for delivering a quality service and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Being registered on the Children's Division and/or the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Having 3 years postgraduate experience
- Possessing the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
- Demonstrating evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level
