**Production Planner Role in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing**
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our busy and growing facility. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed production schedules that align with manufacturing goals and customer requirements.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality vaccines. To achieve this, you will need to maintain realistic timelines and ensure accuracy across all planning activities. This includes minimising production downtime and maximising resource efficiency.
You will work closely with various departments to ensure necessary resources (materials, personnel, equipment) are in place. Your attention to detail will help identify and address potential bottlenecks in advance. Additionally, you will track and manage inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to support production schedules.
A critical aspect of this role is collaboration with multiple teams to maintain schedule integrity. You will serve as the central point of contact for all scheduling-related communications.
To succeed in this position, you will require:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of production scheduling experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards also desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organisational and time management capabilities are essential, as well as a detail-oriented approach to manage complex planning scenarios. Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial for stakeholder engagement.
