Job Title – Project Engineer

Salary - €50K - €65K BOE
About the Company:
A leading Medical Device company based in County Roscommon are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.
You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for providing manufacturing support and implementing process improvement initiatives and help lead projects across a range of product lines.

Duties Include:
* Provide manufacturing support over a range of manufacturing processes.
* Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cost and to improve manufacturing efficiency by using data analysis.
* Manage projects and lead new product introduction projects introducing new processes as appropriate.
* Carry out process and product validations.
* Implement product, process and material changes through validation, change control and documentation updates.
* Familiarize yourself with a variety of processes to allow you to work across a number of product lines.
* Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.
* Additional ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Essential Criteria:
* Level 8 or Degree Equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline.
* 3+ years’ experience within Medical Device Manufacturing.
* Knowledge and understanding of Medical Device protocols.
* Experience of AutoCAD and Solidworks Desirable.
* Strong Six Sigma and Lean knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
* Ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
* Ability to handle workload and multiple projects.
