Applications are invited for the position of #003247 Postdoctoral Researcher, EUMAplus Project, 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Background & Role
EUMAplus is an EU-funded project that develops open-access digital educational resources, including a MOOC and a podcast series, to strengthen awareness, learning, and public understanding of disaster risk management and civil protection across Europe.
The project is hosted within DCU Business School, aligning with the School's strengths in risk and emergency management.
The role will contribute to the Business School's strategy by supporting the development of innovative, open-access learning resources and engaging with interdisciplinary and international research networks.
The successful candidate will undertake research on a project titled "Creating Open Access Digital Educational Material in Disaster Risk Management and Civil Protection." The role will support the delivery of the EUMA+ project by contributing to research activities, digital learning design, content planning and delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
A key focus is supporting the needs assessment and conceptual development of the MOOC and the podcast series.
The candidate will also assist with a wide range of research-related tasks across the project.

Salary
IUA Postdoctoral Researcher Salary Scale - €46,305 - €59,063.
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
