Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Duties:
o Provide consultant-led ENT services covering general ENT, head & neck, audiology liaison, micro‑suction clinics, and cancer pathways.
o Share on-call responsibilities across the main hospital sites.
o Contribute to the delivery of high quality clinical care to all patients.
2. Leadership & Governance:
o Participate in departmental management, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
o Contribute to postgraduate education, including registrar and medical student teaching.
3. Research & Audit:
o Engage in clinical audit and may pursue research; publications are advantageous.
o Uphold professional standards, including compliance with HIQA and HSE policies.
Requirements:
* Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in ENT (Otolaryngology).
* Extensive post-graduate Consultant experience in ENT.
* Completion of ENT specialist training (CCST or equivalent).
* Willingness to work across multiple hospital sites.
