Orange Recruitment are currently hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor for a high-profile commercial development located in Dublin City Centre. This project offers a great opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to make a significant impact on a busy and dynamic site. Our client are specifically looking for someone who has previously supported a Project Supervisor Construction Stage team, and who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day implementation of the company's Environmental, Health & Safety protocols on-site. Serve as a trusted advisor on all EHS matters for management, safety officers, team members, and subcontractors. Ensure the site consistently meets all statutory health, safety, and environmental obligations. Drive a positive safety culture by promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Facilitate EHS inductions and deliver relevant safety training to new hires and contractors. Oversee the creation and regular review of EHS documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, SPAs, and permits to work. Conduct regular site inspections and audits; prepare detailed reports and track corrective actions through to resolution. Manage the reporting and investigation of any accidents or near misses, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are implemented and communicated. Maintain accurate records and support the upkeep of the EHS Management System, including logs, registers, and monthly reports. Provide timely updates and reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Support the compilation of project safety documentation for inclusion in the final client handover file. Take a proactive role in site-wide safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and communications to maintain a zero-incident culture. Requirements: A third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, ideally on large-scale construction projects. Solid background supporting PSCS-led teams. A full, clean driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with confidence in managing digital safety documentation. Strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills. Self-starter with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
