Project engineering is a pivotal role that involves leading the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with all project and business safety and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Scope new engineering projects and secure approval.
* Lead commissioning and qualification activities for current and future projects.
* Update management and stakeholders on project progress.
* Coordinate specialist trades and departments.
* Interface with third parties (suppliers, customers, service providers).
* Manage project documentation.
* Perform cost estimation and forecasting.
* Manage project scheduling and review.
* Report project progress and manage risks.
* Conduct constructability, maintainability, and operability studies.
* Manage project resources.
* Assess the condition of systems (structural, E&I, safety, permitting, and documentation).
* Organize project meetings and appointments.
* Provide project-related training as required.
* Conduct retrospective project performance reviews vs. project goals and lessons learned.
* Participate in cross-functional teams as necessary.
* Ensure safe accomplishment of job activities and follow good environmental practices.
