TJ O' Mahony Arklow & Wexford,part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Building Materials Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a full-time, PermanentCredit Control Assistantto join our Team.Job Purpose:Ensure smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks and supporting staff, handling communications effectively and maintaining Branch records to assist the Branch function efficiently.Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting the Group Credit Control Team in the management of customer credit accounts.Processing payments on customer accounts and ensuring accurate allocation.Conducting customer account reconciliations and following up on outstanding balances.Liaising with Sales Representatives and branch teams to resolve account queries promptly.Maintaining accurate account documentation, correspondence, and records.Ensuring compliance with company credit policies and procedures.Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to support timely payments.Assisting with Branch administrative duties as required.Skills and Requirements:Experience in credit control, accounts, or administrative roles is desirable.Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and general computer systems.Knowledge of account reconciliations is an advantage.Benefits:22 Days Annual LeaveStaff DiscountJob Type:PermanentHours:39 hours per week (Monday - Friday)Location: Position based at TJ O'Mahony Arklow, Yellow Lane, Knockanrahan, Arklow, Co.
