Job Summary
To maintain and improve all Council assets, including civic buildings, leisure centres, sports grounds, caravan parks and community halls.
We are seeking a skilled professional to present a courteous attitude at all times, assisting with the promotion of good working relationships between Council staff and members of the public.
This role involves ensuring that the department complies with statutory and legislative requirements, adhering to good governance and health and safety principles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tasks in a timely and effective manner, maintaining general confidentiality in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
In addition, the postholder may be required to participate in shortlisting decisions based on information contained within application forms.
A reserve list may be established to fill future permanent and temporary posts within the following 12 months. If a similar post becomes available during this time period, the post may be offered to those candidates on the reserve list, in order of merit, without further interview.
The post may be offered on a full-time, part-time, permanent, temporary or fixed-term basis.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary scale is SCP 14-19 (£28,624 - £31,067 per annum). This role offers a competitive salary package, including benefits that support your well-being and career development.
