Job Description
* To manage individual contracts to deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services.
* Provide expert ecological input for a range of projects.
* Plan, conduct and supervise the execution of site ecological surveys and fieldwork.
* Prepare and monitor the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans.
* Undertake Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments (Ec IAs), Biodiversity Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and other environmental reporting requirements.
* Write technical reports and other deliverables.
* Manage quality including attention to detail and accuracy, delivery of contracts on time and to the highest possible standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in ecology or related subject.
* A minimum of five years postgraduate experience.
* Consultancy experience is desirable.
* Member of CIEEM, CIWEM or equivalent professional body.
* Detailed knowledge of wildlife and conservation legislation within Ireland.
* Excellent technical report writing skills.
* Experience in preparing Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments.
* Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
